ephilips@thirdlinefunds.comMr. Phillips also serves as the Director of Private Investments at Heritage Wealth Advisors, a Richmond, VA-based registered investment advisor, and he is a member of its Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Phillips’ career has revolved around providing commercial banking services and advice to owners and executives of mid-sized businesses with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalization, and growth. He served in various senior roles over nine years at Xenith Bank, including head of commercial banking, and was a member of the founding team. Prior to Xenith, he spent eighteen years with large banks in commercial relationship management and credit roles.
Mr. Phillips earned a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the College of William & Mary, and a Masters of Business Administration degree with high distinction from The University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Mr. Phillips is an active mentor to founders of early stage companies through Startup Virginia and Lighthouse Labs.
